Schuttebusbridge Zwolle

Description

A new bus traffic bridge has been built in Zwolle near the station. The new ‘Schuttebusbrug’ connects the new bus platform on the south side of the train station with the new western main route for public transport. The steel bridge has a characteristic S-shape, a length of 110m and a weight of 950t. Thirty different bridge sections were transported by truck to Zwolle and welded together on site to form the bridge. After completion, the bridge was brought to its final position above the railroad using SPMT’s.
