Road bridge Mayenne
In the north of Chateau Gontier a bridge is built over the valley of the Mayenne, consisting of a large arch with steel columns (pilettes) on which the road is supported. The bridge deck, with a span of almost 300 m, consists of a classic bipoutre with variable heights, and with transverse supports in between. The arch and bridge are transported in large parts by road to the two assembly areas on the river banks of the Mayenne. On site the parts are assembled and moved with Kamags under the hook of the crane. The pieces will be mounted with a crawler crane type LR1600.
