Description
As part of the European inland navigation project Seine - Scheldt, the bridge over the Lysin Ooigem/Desselgem is being renovated.
The new bridge is a steel arch bridge with a span of approx. 100 metres and a total weight of approx. 950 tonnes. The bridge deck is almost completely delivered and installed by pontoon from our workshop in Wondelgem. The archways and arches are then assembled at the final location using large mobile cranes.
