Description
TM Stadsbader Contractors – Victor Buyck will carry out the renovation of the Tervuursesteenweg (N3) bridge over the E40 on behalf of the Roads and Traffic Agency.
The existing bridge is outdated and in poor condition, making renovation of the bridge no longer possible. It has therefore been decided to completely demolish the bridge and replace it with a new bridge.
Victor Buyck Steel Construction will deliver the bridge sections via exceptional road transport and assemble the new arch bridge on a pre-assembly site located next to the E40. The bridge will then be jacked up to the height where the concrete deck will be concreted. During a weekend closure, the steel bridge with concrete deck will be driven in using SPMTs.
