In 2016, Victor Buyck was successfully accredited for the National Highways Sector Schemes (NHSS) 20 and 19A.
NHSS 20 focuses on the quality management system requirements for steelwork in the transport and infrastructure sector, while NHSS 19A pertains to the quality management system requirements for corrosion protection of ferrous materials in transport and infrastructure projects using industrial coatings.
Both schemes are part of the NHSS series, custom integrated management schemes within an ISO 9001:2008 framework. These schemes have been specifically developed to interpret BS EN ISO 9001:2008 as it applies to a particular activity or sector in the United Kingdom. They are mandatory for steel construction companies working on future highway projects.
