Victor Buyck Steel Construction A43 Brackley Overbridge

Brackley, U.K. - Victor Buyck Steel Construction is proud to announce the signing of the contract for the construction of the A43 Brackley Overbridge.

The bridge, composed of braced pairs in weathering steel, with a total length of 65 m and a weight of about 780T will create a crucial underpass for the high-speed trains on the HS2 connection.

The project is situated on the A43 near Brackley, in the close vicinity of the legendary Formula 1 track of Silverstone.

We will fabricate and transport the pre-assembled braced pairs to the site where our site team will install them using cranes on the piers and abutments. In a subsequent stage, the bridge is finished with a concrete deck that will carry the road over the railway following a top-down approach.

Victor Buyck is working on behalf of Kier Transportation Ltd., part of EKFB J.V. (Eiffage, KIER, Ferrovial Construction & BAM Nuttal), working in partnership with HS2.

We look forward to using our expertise to make this project a success.
