Victor Buyck Steel Construction Secures Contract for M6 Motorway South Viaducts in HS2 Project
Birmingham, U.K. - Victor Buyck Steel Construction proudly announces it has received the contract to fabricate, deliver and install the steel structure of the M6 Motorway South Viaducts from Balfour Beatty Vinci JV.
These viaducts are a pivotal segment of the HS2 project and comprise in total two viaducts, each housing two box girders that measure about 315 meters long, 3.3 meters wide and 4.8 meters high. With a total weight exceeding 6,600 tons, the sheer scale and precision of this steel structure underline the expertise and capability of Victor Buyck Steel Construction.
Made from weathering steel, a construction material that signifies durability and resilience against environmental elements, this notonly ensures longevity but also aligns with the dedication of all parties to transform the construction industry to be more environmentally conscious.
